The Way Shopping Should Feel

Grab your friends and join Home for the Holidays for fun, fashionable, and entertaining events leading up to Christmas. 

An ideal way to spend a fun weekend with family members and friends, each event gives shoppers the opportunity to peruse multiple and varied boutiques and gift shops all in one venue. The Home for the Holidays group spends the year seeking out and bringing customers the best vendors in food, fashion, accessories, and home décor. It’s a way to support local vendors and pour money back into the community, all while getting into the Christmas spirit. 

Since their foundation in 2008, Home for the Holidays Gift Market has donated over $250,000 benefiting charities and local Houston-area organizations. Home for the Holidays delivers direct support to charitable non-profit organizations serving the Houston area. Previous donations have supported food pantries, provided assistance for women and children, and met rehabilitation needs in the community.

Stacie Henry, one of the three women who do all the behind-the-scenes work for the events, said, “Recently we have learned that a lot of our vendors only participate in our markets, and that is their income for the entire year, so it’s incredibly important to us that we have a great show for our vendors! We work with so many individuals who are starting up small businesses; we love to be able to help vendors grow their ‘side hobby’ into a full-time job that they love!”

As Home for the Holidays enters its 14th year, the staff and members will continue to focus their efforts on raising much-needed funds for organizations and programs serving the needs of the Greater Houston Area.
