About Katy Christian Magazine
News Faithfully. News You Can Believe In.
Founded in 2005, Katy Christian Magazine has served Katy, Greater Houston and Texas for more than 20 years. What began as a local Christian publication has grown into a digital news and media organization reaching readers across Texas, throughout the United States and internationally.
Our coverage includes local and Texas news, government and public affairs, elections, education, faith and family, business, entertainment, community events, Texas history, lifestyle, and original features and investigations. While Katy and Greater Houston remain our home, we also cover statewide, national and international stories that matter to our readers.
Our Christian values are central to who we are. We believe in faith, family, the sanctity of human life, religious liberty, personal responsibility, strong communities and, above all, the importance of truth. We are open about our Christian worldview while remaining committed to accuracy, responsible reporting and clearly distinguishing news from opinion.
Katy Christian Magazine believes independent journalism should be willing to ask difficult questions, examine powerful institutions and cover important stories that larger media organizations sometimes overlook. We also believe journalism should celebrate the people, history, businesses, churches and organizations that make our communities stronger.
After more than two decades, our mission remains simple: tell stories that matter, seek the truth and serve our readers.
