Larry McDougal

Larry McDougal is a Texas Attorney who is board certified in Criminal Law. He worked his way through college and law school where he graduated Cum Laude as a Police Officer and holds a Masters Texas Peace Officer’s license. He retired from law enforcement in 2018 and was elected by the lawyers of Texas as President of the State Bar of Texas for 2020-2021. He has received awards from MADD, 100 Club, Optimist Club, Masonic Lodges of Fort Bend County, Texas Municipal Police Assoc., State Bar of Texas, Fort Bend Bar Association and Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is a Life Member of the Texas Bar Foundation, member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and currently is a board member on the Wharton County Junior College Foundation. He has been married to his wife Karen for 45 years, has 4 children and has a criminal defense law practice with his son in Richmond, Texas.
