Katy Christian Magazine Endorses Donovan Campbell and David Olson for Katy ISD School Board Elections Beginning April 22

Katy Christian Magazine and Fort Bend Christian Magazine are proud to endorse grassroots candidate Donovan Campbell over incumbent candidate Rebecca Fox and David Olson over incumbent Dawn Champagne in the upcoming Katy ISD School Board election on Saturday, May 4. 

Early voting begins on Monday, April 22, and ends on Tuesday, April 30.

Donovan Campbell is the current CEO of Medbridge, a New York Times Bestselling author, and decorated Marine Corps Captain. David Olson is a chemical engineer with 30 years of experience in the petrochemical industry.  He has children in the district and his wife is a Katy ISD employee. Both have the experience needed to propel Katy ISD forward and make it the best in the state.

Incumbents Fox and Champagne are part of the “old guard” establishment that allowed many woke ideologies in Katy ISD. Prior to the election of Vic Perez in 2022, and Mary Ellen Cuzela, Morgan Calhoun and Amy Thieme in 2023, the old Katy ISD school board led by Champagne and Fox always voted 7-0 in favor of many progressive policies that most Katy families felt betrayed their values.
