Katy Christian Ministries (KCM) invites you to the 18th annual Transforming Lives Gala

Join us for a memorable evening of fellowship and FUNraising at the 18th Annual KCM Gala – Rhinestones & Wranglers! This year’s event will provide guests with an opportunity to celebrate the impact we’ve had on the community by the power of collaboration. The event features a delicious dinner, entertainment, and a silent & live auction with dozens of exciting items up for bid!

38 years ago, our ministry was founded with the goal of uplifting our community through God’s grace and the generosity of the community. For the last 18 years, we have hosted this Annual Gala as a fundraiser to support our labor of love for local mission. The KCM Gala is our largest fundraiser of the year and provides much-needed funding for year-round operations and program costs. The Gala will take place on Thursday evening at 6PM, September 15th, 2022 at Safari Texas Ranch in Richmond, TX. KCM thanks our returning sponsors: Parkway Fellowship, Epiphany of the Lord, Houston Methodist West Hospital and Vistra Corp. Sponsorship information packages, event tickets, as well as silent auction items can be found at KTCM.ORG/GALA. Register today!

Transforming lives is at the heart of KCM’s mission. Without the support that KCM has received over the years, programs and resources like the Food Pantry & Community Garden, Crisis Intervention for Victims of Domestic Violence & Sexual Abuse, Social Services & Counseling are impossible. Contributions provide us the opportunity to empower families with financial assistance for basic needs and homeless prevention; address food insecurity, and provide immediate and long-term crisis intervention and counseling. A glance at the impact from 2021: To view our impact report online go to: ktcm.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/2021-Impact-Report-2.1.pdf

  • 2,475 new victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse received help through the KCM Crisis Center.
  • 12,217 households received help meeting basic needs such as emergency rental & utility assistance through KCM Social Services.
  • 50,222 hours were served by volunteers at KCM.
  • 1,614,247 lbs. of food distributed to families in need by the KCM Food Pantry.

KCM Executive Director, Deysi Crespo, asks for the community to continue their generous support of KCM as the need is greater than ever before. “The current state of the economy is putting more pressure on families who were already in crisis. KCM, a long-standing nonprofit in our community is not exempt from experiencing a decline in monetary gifts to support our mission. This is the time to be united and prayerfully consider supporting our annual Gala any way you can. We need You!”
