As school nears its end and long summer days approach, it’s time to get some dates on the calendar for family fun. And with the economy wreaking havoc on everyone’s wallets, it’s also time to scout out free entertainment.
Harris County Precinct 4 has you covered with fun, free entertainment held in local parks throughout the summer. Bring your family and summer visitors to an event everyone is sure to love, while sharing time with your neighbors and promoting community spirit.
The annual Summer Movie Nights brings three family-friendly movies to parks throughout west Harris County this June, July, and August. Pack your blankets, chairs, and snacks and join your community for outdoor showings of the Lion King, Frozen, and Monsters Inc. on the big screen, starting at dusk.
And to entice you even further, each movie includes a children’s craft that will keep the youngsters busy until the movie begins. Crafts begin at 7 p.m. Even the popcorn is free, and snow cones are available for purchase.
