Human trafficking is now the second most profitable criminal activity in the United States. Adults and children are sold in quantities second only to illegal drugs. According to Polaris, the trafficking hotline saw a 19% increase from 2018-2019 and a 40% increase during COIVID. This isn’t a coincidence and it will continue to escalate unless we do something to protect and arm our most valuable assets to our future – our children.
We hear the stories, we say a prayer, and “Bless their little hearts.” Our community has an accepted indifference to sex trafficking because we believe it is an international or “them” problem. Until we face the reality that sex trafficking is happening in our own neighborhoods and our schools and is an “us” problem, it will continue to thrive.
Please join us on Friday evening, November 5, 2021, to experience firsthand how our children are susceptible and vulnerable to this atrocity. Fight For Us, The Katy 20 and The Million Dollar Print present: THE REVEAL: Shackles of the Mind, The Truth about Sex Trafficking.
Through audio, visual, photography and actors, THE REVEAL will show you how our children have become the perfect prey for today’s traffickers. Based on real life survivor stories, this is a remarkable night you will not forget.
In small groups of 15, audience members will participate in a 20-25 minute experience that will take you through a tried and true sex trafficking methodology. You will begin to better understand the “business model” of a trafficker and the victim and survivor’s mindset, and identify how they are organized and present in our community.
Please note that while the experience is intense, guests will not be exposed to nudity/graphic images or touched in any way.
Ticket prices are $150 per person/$250 per couple. As 100% of proceeds are directed to support anti-sex trafficking efforts, the tickets are non-refundable. If The REVEAL needs to be postponed due to COVID or weather, a rain check will be issued for a rescheduled date.
The event is being held in an historic schoolhouse built-in 1926 just 35 minutes from Houston in the Fulshear area.
