Emily Rolfes

Finishing 2nd runner-up in the Pre-Teen Division of the 2014 Miss Teen for the Houston area, Emily is now eligible to compete at Nationals in Orlando, Florida. At the National Miss Jr. Pre-Teen division, one of four divisions that will have young ladies ages from 7 thru 19, Emily will compete in modeling routines, which include casual wear and formal wear. She will display her personality and interviewing skills while interviewing with the pageant judging panel. Over $30,000 in prizes and awards will be presented at the National Competition.
Emily enjoys the pageants because it is an opportunity to make new friends and help build her confidence. This aspiring marine biologist plays the flute and enjoys playing volleyball. She is a member of National League Junior Cotillion, which teaches common rules in becoming a lady and thorough training in standard ballroom dance.
Emily is the daughter of Sonja and Rolfes of Katy. Her favorite thing to do after school is practicing the flute. She is also a member of Second Baptist Church.
Favorite class or subject: History, because she can learn so much from the country’s ancestors.
What are your ambitions after high school “I want to go to Texas A&M to become a Marine Biologist, specializing in researching sharks.”
Favorite Bible verse and why: Psalm 116:1-2. “Because the Lord has done so many things for me, even though I am not deserving.”
