Trey Stegall practices primarily in the areas of estate planning and elder law. He typically deals with Medicaid planning, asset protection planning, long-term care crisis planning, probate and trust administration, guardianships, the preparation of living trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, asset protection trusts, insurance trusts, and applications for VA Aid & Attendance and Medicaid Benefits. He is dedicated to his clients and works diligently to ensure they understand all of their options and help them choose the path that is best for them.
Trey is a member of The Texas Bar, the Houston Bar Association, the Katy Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and Disability and Elder Law Attorneys Association. Trey received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 1998 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 2002. He started practicing law in the same year. He worked for 10 years in business and personal injury litigation before finding his passion in estate planning and elder law. He now dedicates his time to advocating for elderly Americans and those with disabilities in need of his assistance.
When Trey’s not working, you will often find him alongside his wife Becky chasing down one of their three school-aged children. Trey has been a youth coach and is active in the ministries of his church parish. He also loves woodworking and playing the guitar.
