Alexa Arcila

Alexa Arcila, holds a Master’s degree in Christian Leadership from Houston Baptist University. Later on, The Dean of Christian Thought at Houston Baptist University appointed her as Doctoral Candidate, where she is still pursuing knowledge to fulfill the great calling in the field of ministry. In addition, she is an Ordained Pastor in the United States with more than 12 years of experience in Healing and Recovery Ministries in Colombia. She holds a degree in Economist, Post-graduate in Business, Management, and Marketing from Pitman Training, England, Post-graduate in International Management, and Finances from Javeriana and Externado University. A successful manager in the Financial sector for about 15 years, and then the Director of ACEFIN, a non-profit organization established in Colombia that focused on empowering low-income communities where she served through workshops on personal finances to vulnerable communities. Also, she worked for Phoenix House of Texas, a non-profit organization that operates in 7 states with a portion of $100 million annual budget, as part of the program of prevention of addictions, alcohol, and mental health, that reached more than 2.450 people in Harris County. Currently, she is the Senior Pastor of Jesus The Transformer Church in Houston and leads its program of healing and recovery to the community. She is a Member of the US Pastor Council (USPC), member of the Christian Ministries Confederation (CMC), member of the Coalition of Substance Abuse Prevention (Cosap), a member of the Coalition of Behavioral Health, member of The American Association for Christian Counseling, and a recognized member of the Christian Chamber of Commerce in Katy.
