“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” — Matthew 19:26
In your life today, you may be facing, experiencing or going through some difficulty where all hope seems gone and faith feels weak. As thoughts overtake your mind about what the end result will be, it may seem there is nothing you or anyone else can do. It may be a sickness in your body, a legal battle in the courthouse or a family issue that is slowly bringing you to sadness and loneliness. It may also be that someone you love, whether family, friend or neighbor, is facing an impossible battle. The Bible declares that all who came to Jesus saw the impossible become possible as they were touched by His power.
“And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.” — Matthew 4:24
It is possible to God because He has authority to speak into the natural and bring the supernatural manifestation of His presence and power to break the limits of the natural world. He will give you His word, which is not like the word of man that falls and is limited. God’s word will never return void to Him. As God speaks His word and you believe it over your life and family, you will experience the blessings of heaven upon your life.
This is the story of the Roman soldier who was desperate for the healing of his servant. He did not have much time, as the situation was getting worse. Perhaps for you or that family member, it is getting worse every day. But if you will only believe and ask God to send His word to your home, to your body and to your circumstance, the impossible is about to happen. This is why the centurion said:
“The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.” — Matthew 8:8
Speak the word and …
This is what we must do in our limited humanity. We must come to God, and if we do come to Him, God will send His living word to restore what is broken.
If your marriage is broken, about to fail and you are thinking it is over, it is not over with the God of the impossible who wants to bless your marriage.
If the doctor has said there is no medicine to reverse or cure your body, with God there is divine healing, as He is the God of the impossible.
If your son or daughter needs help as they face anxiety and depression, and the road of life is getting darker, there is the light of God to bring joy and hope, as He is the God of the impossible.
If you are struggling financially and see no way out of your economic situation, there is a God of the impossible who multiplies bread and fish when there is not enough.
All you have to do is ask. If you ask God today to do the impossible, God will speak the word into your life. For God loves you, He cares about you, and He has plans for your life. God never intended failure or deception for your life. God never planned any defeat in your children, family or home. He is a God of mercy and goodness, a God who sent His only Son to die for you and break the curse of the world and the bondages of sin.
I believe God is about to do some great things this year in your life and family. God is about to move in a powerful way that will cause those things that were hindered in your life before to begin to be released upon you. This is why the Bible says:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” — Jeremiah 29:11
Get ready. There is an expected end coming your way. It is not what you expected in your natural limitations, but it is the expected end of what God has said. It is not the expected end of the medical report, but the expected end of healing over your body. It is not the expected end of a divorce after years of marriage, but the expected end of reconciliation and restoration in the family.
Why? Because to God, nothing is impossible.
As we close here, let me remind you that you are not reading this article by accident or coincidence. You are reading it because God wanted to speak to you through these words and remind you that He is still God in the middle of your situation.
Speak to Him right now. Pray, because He is listening.
“Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.” — Jeremiah 29:12
