New Heart of Texas Ministries Hosts Annual Gala with Matthew West to Honor Veterans and First Responders

KATY, Texas — New Heart of Texas Ministries is thrilled to welcome five-time Grammy-nominated Christian artist Matthew West as the featured performer for its annual gala on Saturday, March 29, at 5 p.m. The event, held at Agave Estates (1250 FM 1463, Katy, TX), will include an inspiring evening of live music, dinner, and a live auction—all in support of the ministry’s mission to serve those in need.

This year, the gala will spotlight one of the organization’s key initiatives: the Duty To Heal Program, which provides critical support for veterans and first responders recovering from post-traumatic stress disorder. With an estimated 22 veterans lost to suicide daily, the program offers intensive retreats, therapeutic resources, and a strong community to help them heal and find hope.

Adding to the evening’s impact, Master Sergeant Cedric King, a decorated veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, and Legion of Merit, will deliver a powerful keynote address. King, a renowned public speaker, will share his testimony of resilience and purpose following the challenges of war.

Guests will also have the opportunity to attend a special meet-and-greet with Matthew West and Cedric King, available exclusively to sponsor-level donors. Limited spots are available, and interested supporters are encouraged to secure their tickets early at www.newheartoftexas.org before they sell out.

This unforgettable evening will bring together music, faith, and community to honor the brave men and women who have selflessly served our country. Don’t miss this chance to make a difference—get your tickets today.
