Former NFL Player and Coach Sherman Smith Joins All-Star Cast of Speakers for Intense Men 2023 Conference in March

Intense Men, Texas’ largest father-son Christian campout, is thrilled to announce that former NFL player and coach, Sherman Smith, will be joining us as a featured speaker at this year’s event. With a career that spans over two decades in the NFL and a Super Bowl championship under his belt, Sherman brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with our attendees.

Sherman played in the NFL for 8 seasons, including time with the Seattle Seahawks, and was a key member of their Super Bowl championship team in the 1988 season. After retiring from playing, Sherman transitioned into coaching and served as an assistant coach with the Seattle Seahawks for several seasons. Throughout his career, Sherman has been recognized for his leadership and work ethic as both a player and coach. In 2022, he was also featured in the film, “Show Me the Father.”

At Intense Men 2023, Coach Smith will be sharing his experiences as a player and coach in the NFL, and the lessons he learned along the way. He will delve into what it takes to be a successful athlete, and how those same principles can be applied to everyday life. Additionally, Sherman will be sharing his faith journey and the impact it has had on his life and career.

Intense Men is a 3-day camping event that brings together fathers and sons from across Texas for a unique experience centered around leadership development and a deeper relationship with Christ. With sports competitions, 5-star food, and approximately 2,000 men, this is an event you won’t want to miss.
