Help for Sound Sleep
I really need help getting a good night’s sleep. I toss and turn all night long. I am so tired the next day and it’s hard to go to work and take care of my family. All I want to do is take a nap. I don’t like the way sleep medications make me feel. Is there anything natural that can help? Thank you, Sara T.
Thank you, Sara, for your question. So many people have trouble sleeping these days, and it negatively affects their quality of life. Let me share some statistics with you:
- More than one-third of the U.S. population isn’t getting enough sleep.
- Between 10% and 30% of adults struggle with chronic insomnia.
- Women have a lifetime risk of insomnia that is as much as 40% higher than that of men.
- The yearly workplace cost in the U.S. due to insomnia is an estimated $63.2 billion.
I often hear comments like “I can’t sleep no matter what I do,” “I’m so tired but I can’t fall asleep,” and “It makes me so tired and lack energy the next day.” We’ve all been there and know how bad this feels. Getting a good night’s sleep is crucial for optimal health. It gives the body time to relax and restore itself.
Prescription and over-the-counter sleep medications aren’t the answer and are accompanied by a host of negative side effects. Some of the side effects of medications like Ambien and Lunesta are daytime drowsiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, impaired reactions, hallucinations, anxiety, decreased libido, depression, and more.
The good news is that I have formulated a natural, effective solution for you. My proprietary blend, Sleep Formula, is a natural, safe way to get into a deeper sleep faster and feel more rested when you wake up.
My Sleep Formula is a comprehensive formula that contains all-natural ingredients:
- Valerian Extract
Melatonin is a sleep regulating hormone and is essential for a good night’s sleep. It is produced by the pineal gland at night and helps regulate your sleep and wake cycles, helping you get a restful night’s sleep.
L-Tryptophan is an essential amino acid used in the process of making serotonin, your feel-good, calming hormone. Serotonin is a hormone that helps balance your mood. The byproduct of the tryptophan-to-serotonin process is melatonin.
Chamomile extract has sedative properties that help with sleep quality. Valerian Root has a long history of being used as a sleep and stress aid. Inositol has a calming effect. It helps reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.
My Sleep Formula does not contain any dairy, egg, nuts, GMOs (genetically modified ingredients), gluten or soy. It contains 60 capsules per bottle.
There are also several lifestyle tips that can help you sleep, as well:
- Healthy eating.
- Daily exercise. Physically active people sleep better.
- Turn off all electronics in your bedroom.
- Keep your bedroom as dark as possible and keep the temperature below 70 degrees.
- Go to bed at the same time every night, including weekends.
- Avoid large meals late in the evening.
- Reduce intake of caffeine and alcohol at night.
It’s time to get a good night’s sleep!
