World Bazaar, Family History Night & Passion Projects
Calvary Episcopal Preparatory’s time honored tradition was award winning this year! 6th grade students’ World Bazaar transported their audience into another geographical location through presentations and cuisine. 7th Grade students’ Family History Night consisted of a dialogue between two to three individuals from Texas history. These conversations were educational, witty and at times, humorous. Calvary’s 8th grade students topped off the night with their Multi-Genre Projects which was a research passion project that each student presented and highlighted artifacts that the student replicated or created. It is one of the many traditions that students and families look forward to every year!

Calvary’s Art
Calvary’s Art Department has been working hard and sharing their talents! Senior art students exhibited their work at the Fort Bend Art Center last month. Their guests loved seeing their beautiful collection and hearing their stories. Students from Calvary’s High School also competed in TAPPS art competitions, earning many state awards including three 1st place medals in the categories of onsite drawing, black and white submissions, and printmaking, just to name a few! On top of that, Calvary students were recognized at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Tenth grade Joana Liu’s Best of Show piece made auction, and eighth grade Elliana Shogren won a Gold Medal. Calvary students also earned 7 Awards of Excellence at the Fort Bend County Fair.
