Cane Island is kicking off the holiday season in grand style as the Katy community of new homes presents a must-see showcase of expertly decorated Christmas trees, each custom designed based on traditional and fun, whimsical themes.
Now through the end of December, Cane Island’s Christmas Tree Showcase features 13, sparkling, Instagram-worthy creations in the community’s showcase model homes, its Welcome Center and onsite restaurant, The Oaks Kitchen & Bar. This year’s themes include Santa’s Snowy Village, Ballerina Nutcracker, Santa’s Wine with Friends and Katy High School, among others.
Cane Island’s model homes, Welcome Center and The Oaks Kitchen & Bar are open daily.
“It’s one of our favorite times of the year,” says Lawren Eckhardt, Cane Island’s director of marketing. “The reactions of those who see the trees are priceless. It makes all the effort worthwhile.”
Admission is free with parking available at each model home, Cane Island’s Welcome Center and The Oaks Kitchen & Bar.
The holiday fun continues as Candy Cane Market with the Real Craftwives of Katy returns to Cane Island Saturday, December 4 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Holiday shoppers can browse from among 50+ local outdoor vendors presenting handcrafted jewelry, custom clothing and accessories, fun items for the home and other unique finds. Take a picture with Santa inside a life-sized snow globe, grab a bite to eat along with a sprit from The Oaks Kitchen & Bar, and more!
