Aristoi Classical Academy announces Class of 2020 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Aristoi Classical Academy proudly announces that Mr. Darius Thompson is the class of 2020 Valedictorian and Miss Rosemary Williams is the class of 2020 Salutatorian.

Darius Thompson will attend Abilene Christian University where he plans on majoring in sports management and mathematics and minoring in Spanish. He was recognized in 2020 as a Commended Student in the National Merit Scholarship program and is a member of the National Honor Society. A gifted athlete, Mr. Thompson was honored as the Aristoi Athlete of the Year and was a member of Aristoi’s Varsity 2019 state championship football team. Mr. Thompson attended Aristoi Classical Academy for the past five years.

Rosemary Williams will attend Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas where she will major in psychology. She has attended Aristoi Classical Academy for the past five years, often performing in theatre productions such as Taming of the Shrew, Antigone, and Romeo and Juliet. Miss Williams served as secretary for the National Honor Society and as a Khan Academy SAT ambassador. She also co-founded the “Cooking with Character” club for the Aristoi student body.

Aristoi currently has two campuses in historic Katy with a total enrollment of nearly 1,000 students. Another K-4th grade campus is scheduled to open in Cypress, TX this fall. As the President and Publisher of Katy and Fort Bend Christian Magazines, Joe Menslage is committed to covering social and political news from a Christian worldview. He founded Katy Christian Magazine in 2005, which swept the greater Houston and Katy areas like a storm. That’s when Joe realized the urgent need for publications willing to give voices to the voiceless, without political correctness or censorship. Joe Menslage founded sister-publication Fort Bend Christian Magazine in 2014. Prior to creating Katy Christian Magazine, Joe Menslage led a colorful life. He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, spent a great deal of his childhood in Colorado, and lived in a couple of other states before he moved to Houston in 1981. Joe was God-gifted with an entrepreneurial mind, and self-started other business ventures before he found his calling. In Joe’s words, our innate talents are given by the Lord, and are meant to be used to serve the Lord. Aside from being a President and Publisher, Joe Menslage is also the co-founder of Katy Christian Chamber of Commerce, where Christians can network, build business connections, listen to passionate speakers, and enjoy monthly breakfasts and lunches.
