On May 31, 2008, my ex-wfie, Nicole, was killed in an automobile accident off of the Katy Freeway, and she was buried in her family cemetery on June 07, 2008. God tells us that He will never give us more than we are able to handle, but at times, He can push us to the utter brink.
God has been good to us during this most difficult time. The amount of prayers and ministry that we have received has been breathtaking. Our family can’t thank those enough for all that has been done for us.
I first met Nicole on September 30, 1987, where we both worked together. She was to me the most beautiful woman that I had ever laid eyes upon. Our first date was on December 05 of that same year.
In the summer of 1991 we both walked down the isle at First Baptist Church Houston to recommit our lives to Christ. On January 23, 1993 we were married in the chapel at First Baptist Church Houston. In August 1995 our first of four children (Gabriel Joseph- age 12, Hannah Faith- age 10, Jeremiah David- age 8 and Naomi Star- age 7) was born.
My four children and I know that someday we will once again see her in Paradise, but that doesn’t stop the pain. As hard as it is for us, I can’t imagine what it must be like for someone that has no faith, for those who have no hope in Christ.
A website has been set up for Nicole at www.beresfordfunerals.com/Obits/Obit.html?id=102927 to honor her life. She will be missed by all those who knew her, especially our four kids.
In Christ,
