🧩 Puzzle for a Purpose: Felicia Smith Jigsaw Puzzle Competition

Saturday, July 26, 2025 | 9:00 AM | Rosenberg VFW, 1903 1st Street

First up, get your team together and your minds sharp for the Felicia Smith Jigsaw Puzzle Competition – Summer Edition! This high-energy, family-friendly event celebrates the life and legacy of Felicia Smith, a devoted community servant whose spirit lives on through this unique challenge.

Whether you’re a 1,000-piece pro or just in it for the laughs, teams of four will race the clock to complete 300-, 500-, or 1,000-piece puzzles—all while enjoying camaraderie, coffee, and competition. Doors open at 9:00 AM with a continental breakfast, and the puzzling begins promptly at 10:00 AM. Creative team names and matching shirts are encouraged!

This year, we honor the incredible Diaz Family—Rob, Richard, Lara, and Kenny—whose journey through autism has been marked by resilience, faith, and fierce love. Their son Rob, diagnosed with Asperger’s at age six, faced rejection from insurance and a major emotional setback at 16. Today, he’s a Magna Cum Laude graduate and future Cybersecurity expert heading to Texas State Technical College.
