With only 175 days left in office, Biden is determined to rid the Supreme Court of Conservative judges and pack it with cherry-picked progressives through a measure he’s calling “Supreme Court Reform.”
WASHINGTON, D.C.—Last Wednesday, President Joe Biden addressed the nation, announcing his decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. During his speech, Biden emphasized that advocating for reforms to the Supreme Court will be a priority in his remaining six months in office.
“I’m going to call for Supreme Court reform, because this is critical to our democracy,” Biden said.
Recent reports have indicated that Biden intends to propose significant changes to the Supreme Court, described by critics as “sweeping” and “radical.” These changes reportedly include legislation aimed at abolishing life tenure for justices, a move that would remove long standing republican Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito.

Additionally, Biden is expected to advocate for an enforceable code of ethics.
Kelly Shackelford, President & CEO of First Liberty, reacted to Biden’s announcement, expressing concern that the proposed reforms could undermine judicial independence and jeopardize the civil liberties of Americans.
The attack on Republican representation in the Supreme Court is a calculated response to recent court decisions that did not align with the Biden administration’s views. Biden has aligned himself with the radical Left, vowing to purge the court during the remainder of his time in office.
Critics argue that this initiative represents a dangerous attempt by politicians and radical groups to seize power through any means necessary.

Further, they assert that altering the courts for partisan purposes would pose a significant threat to the nation, and it is the true threat to democracy. They argue that such actions could undermine the integrity of the judicial system, leading to a potential erosion of the rule of law.
Recent polling data indicates widespread public concern over the politicization of the Supreme Court, with 72% of Americans expressing fears about threats to judicial independence. A substantial majority, 69%, oppose Congressional oversight in setting rules for judicial ethics, while 68% reject the idea of court-packing or expanding the Court’s size.
